P2P Trading – How It Works
Buy and sell crypto directly with other users using secure escrow & live chat
Last Updated: Recently
Overview
Our P2P marketplace lets users exchange supported assets directly while the platform holds funds in escrow until both sides confirm payment. This reduces counterparty risk and enables fast settlement.
- Escrow Protection: Seller funds are locked until payment confirmation.
- Real-time Chat: Coordinate payment and resolve questions instantly.
- Transparent Terms: Each offer can include custom requirements (payment window, ID needed, etc.).
- Dispute Flow: Admin can intervene and release funds correctly if disagreement arises.
Lifecycle of a Trade
Browse Offers
Filter by asset, amount range, and price. Review seller reputation and terms.
Initiate Escrow
You start a trade. Seller's crypto is locked in escrow immediately.
Pay Seller
Send fiat or agreed payment externally. Mark payment as sent and provide reference if needed.
Seller Confirms
Seller verifies receipt and releases funds. Escrow transfers crypto to buyer wallet.
Completion / Dispute
If a problem occurs, either party can open a dispute. Admin reviews chat + evidence and releases correctly.
Safety Guidelines
- Check seller history and previous successful trades.
- Keep all critical confirmations inside chat for audit trail.
- Beware of edited payment screenshots—verify with your bank directly.
- Use dispute if payment appears fraudulent or reversed.
Fees
Fees are simple and shown before you commit:
- Escrow: Small percentage taken from seller side when releasing funds.
- Network: Standard blockchain withdrawal fees if moving assets externally.
- Dispute Handling: No extra fee; prolonged abuse may incur penalties.
Offer Terms Best Practices
Sellers can include a description/terms field. Recommended items:
- Accepted payment methods (e.g., bank transfer, mobile money).
- Payment time window (e.g., 15 minutes).
- Required reference message / note.
- ID or KYC requirement if trade exceeds threshold.
Disputes
If either party opens a dispute:
- Escrow stays locked.
- Admin reviews chat + payment evidence.
- Funds released to rightful party or refunded to seller.
- Repeated abuse may lead to suspension.
